Chapter I: DO not care a single wink

Text size

To hear, my friend, what you may think. I’ve heard opinion till I’m sore Please do not give me any more. Your syllogisms all are weak. You slip the track whene’er you speak. Too many people think, of late, And not enough of them think straight.

What do you know? I wait to hear A tale of knowledge ringing clear. If you have anything to say That puts a new light in the day, That makes me feel because of it The world is changed a little bit, Then speak. I hark with eyes aglow, If you will tell me what you know.
