=POMPONS=: Work 88 (98, 106). Wind yarn 40 times over the back of a chair, tie at 1¼ inch intervals, cut between ties, trim slightly. Attach a double strand of yarn in mesh, ch 4, join a pompon, ch 4, skip 1 mesh, sl st in next mesh, ch 7, join a pompon, ch 7, skip 2 meshes, sl st in next mesh, continue all around lower edge and sleeve edges until all pompons are joined.
