Footprints in the Forest

"Footprints in the Forest" by Edward Sylvester Ellis is a historical adventure novel written in the late 19th century. The story follows young Jack Carleton and his companion Deerfoot, a skilled Shawanoe warrior, as they embark on a perilous journey to rescue their friend Otto Relstaub, who has fallen into the hands of a band of Pawnee Indians.
