When Jack discovers his father's secret past and befriends a captive ape, he embarks on a dangerous journey to Africa that transforms him into Korak—"the killer." In the jungle, he rescues an abused girl named Meriem, and together they survive years of adventure while his parents search desperately for their missing son.
