"The Wonderful Garden; or, The Three Cs" by E. Nesbit is a children's novel written in the early 20th century. The story centers around the adventures of three siblings—Caroline, Charles, and Charlotte—as they navigate life in a grey house while their parents are away in India. The children's collective longing for color and excitement leads them to explore a mysterious garden and engage with various whimsical and magical elements.
