"Weymouth New Testament in Modern Speech, 1 Timothy" by Richard Francis Weymouth is a translation published in 1903. Weymouth sought to render the New Testament as if its inspired writers had composed their accounts in nineteenth-century English. Based on his compilation of major Greek texts, this translation aimed to provide a compressed commentary alongside traditional versions.
