_John Lord Berkeley_ (Vol. v., p. 275.) never was Bishop of Ely. John Lord Berkeley of Stratton, the second son of John Berkeley, was a British admiral; he died on the 27th of July, 1696-7, not more than thirty-four years of age, during eight of which he had filled the office of admiral. See Rose's _Biographical Dictionary_.

Neither of them is entered in the Bodleian Catalogue.
