Chapter XXVII: Section 1: Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of

the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in General Assembly met and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same_ That beginning January first one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three subject to the provisions and under the restrictions imposed by this act every person (man or woman married or single) shall while residing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania be entitled to assistance in old age
