Chapter XXXIV: Section XVIII: Of the Dár-ul-kirá of Constantinople

Each grand mosque has a _dár-ul-kirá_, or school for the reading of the Korán, the most remarkable of which is the _dár-ul-kirá_ of Sultán Soleïmán. Those of Khosrou Kehiyá, near the mosque of Etmekjí Zádeh Ahmed Páshá; of Sa’dí Chelebí; of Muftí Zádeh; and of Bosnalí Ahmed Páshá, were all built by the celebrated architect Sinán.
