Chapter XLI
Text size
It seem’d as if in Heaven, they all
Were keeping some high festival:
For, far and near, they thronging came,
Angels, and shapes of living flame,
That had been wandering with their peers,
Out, o’er remotest stars and spheres,
And roaming over fields of light,
Adoring ever, at the sight
Of wondrous things, beyond our seeing,
Creations bursting into being,
New suns and planets ever making,
And new-born light forever breaking.
