Chapter LVIII
Text size
There is another world than this,
And there ’twas mine to fall:
’Tis never a world of joy or bliss,
But a world where fear and darksomeness,
And gloom, enshroudeth all.
Oh pray ye now, while pray ye can,
That never ye come, where then I came;
For never return’d a tell-tale man,
That once went down to that world of flame.
