WOOD ENGRAVING MACHINES AND PLATINUM POINTS.

The “Simplex” is so constructed that the Benzoline which is required to keep the Platinum Point red-hot is utilized also for heating the Point at first, thereby dispensing with the Spirit Lamp used with the “Original.” The flame is blue and perfectly smokeless. By turning the round Vulcanite Disc to certain marks, the Benzoline Gas supplies the Lamp, or it may be directed, by a turn, into the heated Point, and keeps this red-hot. By another turn, all escape from the bottle is shut off, and this can now be safely packed away and carried in any position.

The “Simplex” has a well-finished Nickeled Bottle. The “Simplex,” with Standard “A” Point (No. 276) complete, 22/6 each. Extra Points for the “Simplex,” 8/4 each.

The “Original” No. 3 has a Standard “A” platinum point, best bellows; the box is made of polished cherry wood. Price, complete with platinum point (No. 276), 15/11 each. Extra points, 8/4 each. Also No. T U 1, extra quality, Price 20/6 Note.--Our Machines can also be supplied with Horn-shaped Points, if preferred, at same prices.

The “Griffin” Machine for “Relief Burning” is fitted with extra large best Bellows, size 6.

Griffin No. I, complete with large Knife-shaped, No. 292, and Modelling, No. 297, Platinum Points, 39/9 each.

Griffin No. III, with one Platinum Point (large Bent Knife), 27/6 each.

No. T U 345. Poker Spectacles. Made of Plain Glass, and to fit closely over the eyes, to protect them from the smoke of the pokered material. Price 0/4, 0/7½

POKER SUNDRIES.

(Best Quality.) (Tubing for connecting cork handles extra).

No. 338/3. Bellows, usual size, 14 in. Tubing, 1/6½ and 1/11½ each. No. 338/5, Rubber Bellows, large size for Relief Poker Work, 14 in. Tubing, 2/9 each. No. 338/6, Ditto, 3/6. No. 360/7, Bellows with 54 in. Tubing for foot-bellows, 4/6 each. Rubber Tubing to connect cork handle. No. 357/36. Tubing only, 36 in. long. 0/5 each.

The “Pyro” is a very handy machine, with an exceedingly simple flame or burner-top. The flame-top, which takes the place of the Spirit Lamp in the “Original” machines, is worked exactly like a gas jet, and burns entirely without smell. The Platinum Point is the Standard quality, as fitted to “Original” No. 2 or 3, and the “Simplex” machine. The “Pyro” machine comes cheaper than the “Simplex” on account of the simplicity of the flame-top.

The “Pyro,” complete with Standard “A” Point (No. 276), 16/10 each. Extra Points, 8/4 each.

The “Pyro” flame-top (No. 340) can be supplied separately and will fit any of the Glass Bottles supplied with our machines. Price 1/11½ each.
