The Departments devoted to Fashion have a particular fascination, the name Harrods being a _cachet_ with well-dressed people for correct and distinctive attire.

Their fashion experts regularly visit the Continental markets. They have established agencies in the leading centres which keep them informed of the trend of fashion, and constantly feed them with novelties.

Harrods have developed the manufacturing side of their fashion business to such an extent that they now produce in their own workrooms a great number of fashionable garments, including gowns, coats, blouses, millinery, and underwear, many of original design as well as replicas of selected Paris models.

This development of manufacture not only tends to improve quality by giving Harrods the entire supervision of the materials and workmanship, but also lessens the cost to customers, all middle profit being obviated by this method of supplying direct.

Dainty Evening Frock, prettily arranged. This Gown looks well with the Coatee effect, made in soft pink chiffon, studded with crystal beads, tiny bows of pink satin. The lace showing through on the bodice is on an underdress of ivory satin draped with the same colour chiffon, which is neatly caught at the foot with narrow crystal insertion. Can be procured in a variety of shades.

Delightful little Frock, made in coloured Satin draped with soft fine net. The fichu bodice is neatly arranged with tiny frills of needlerun lace and small silk roses, which also neatens the skirt at foot. Waistband and sash of ribbon in a contrasting shade.

Elegant Evening Gown of satin meteor with corsage of beautifully embroidered net. This is worked with pretty combination of tiny coloured beads. The fichu effect is of fine shadow lace, giving a delightful finish to a most charming gown. Made in all new shades and black.

G.O. “BELVOIR.”

Very smart gown, composed of fine spotted net over soft silk lining, with little flounces of narrow lace; over this is a covering of chiffon in any new shade. The model has royal blue, which looks extremely well, for it is again relieved with wide guipure insertion, as shown in sketch, and a dainty little sash of deep rose tulle.
